The Broker has run its own football team for over a decade now - The team competes in the Southend Sunday Vets League. The games are played on a Sunday morning and Kick Off is always at 10:30am. Its always nice to have support during these games so if you are at a loose end why not come along and support the team.

The team's home gound is at Eastwoodbury Lane playing fields - the home of the Southend Borough Combination. Away games can be anywhere in the Southend and Basildon area so make sure you ask for the fixture details so that you dont miss them.

Of course, if you feel up to playing the team is always on the look out for talent - if you are over 35 years of age and would like to play then ask when you next visit the pub for the Manager's details and training information.

Its a great team atmosphere and a great bunch of lads so why not give it a go?
